Sexuality, rights and politics in Latin America
This project by a group of Latin American researchers headed by Mario Pecheny seeks to understand the ways in which sexuality, rights and politics have been addressed in the region since the 1980s, resulting in an intellectual tradition of research and activism in this field.
More than 40 interviews with intellectuals and activists from different Latin American countries and the US were conducted. They examine biographical events that motivated their trajectories in this field of study, professional and disciplinary landmarks that oriented their work, and political commitments in their intellectual trajectories.
The intervews - in Spanish and Portuguese - are made available in this section of our website (in progress). In alphabetical order.
